First, When you arrived on this article(through the Google or article directory) you probably got attracted by headline..What does it means: Stacked Income?

Does Stacked Income concept sounds powerful enough?(Keep reading)

Let’s say you own a paint store. Your store sells quality paint at fair prices. You understand that your success relies on keeping your customers satisfied, so you do everything you can to provide the very best service. Your advertising is effective and within a few months you have a number of loyal customers. These are professional painters who buy a lot of paint, so your store is profitable.

Then one day you decide you’d like to increase your profits.

How will you accomplish that?

You could open another paint store in the next town, but that would require leasing another building, finding and hiring someone to run the store, and spending more money on advertising.

As you can see, that approach would cost a lot of money and require a lot more effort from you.

Instead, you decide to add another product line in your existing store. You contact a paint brush company, pay them some money, and they come to your store and set up some nice displays with quality paint brushes.

Soon your customers are buying paint AND paint brushes from you. Paint is your “primary product” and brushes are an “add-on product”.

You already had an income from your primary product sales. Now you’ve stacked another income on top of that income by selling an add-on product that your existing customers also want.

How much extra work was that for you? None. Your profits increased simply because you arranged to provide another product to your existing customers.

Could you do that again? Could you have another Stacked Income?

Absolutely!

Suppose you decide to add drop cloths and rags as another product category. The exact same customers who were already buying paint and brushes could then also buy the drop cloths and rags they need. That would give you another Stacked Income.

It would probably cost you a little money for the additional products, but your profits would increase (again) without you doing any more work, so it would certainly be worth it.

Then you could add ladders. That’s another Stacked Income.

Then paint sprayers. That’s another Stacked Income.

See what’s happening? You’re earning more money without doing any more work!

You haven’t increased your advertising or your labor costs. You didn’t need to open another store and find more customers. You simply provided your existing customers with more products that they need and want, and your business became more profitable.

In fact, with each new add-on product, your business became more profitable.

How many add-on products can you have?

Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank applied the concept of Stacked Income by offering customers 40,000 add-on products and transformed one lumber store in Atlanta, Georgia into a $90 billion retail empire called The Home Depot.

Passive income to wealth is what everyone is trying to create; are you one of those trying to create a passive income for the rest of your life? In studying real estate I know passive income is income generated from apartment complexes or rental housing. The government issues a tax rate of 15% for passive income. Since I don’t know the tax laws related to Internet marketing I don’t know if the government has the same tax break for passive income online.

 

But passive income online I think is thought of as reselling products over and over again in creating income, but I would have to talk to some CPA s about it to know what the IRS considers passive income. I do see MLM pay plans online and I believe selling a book over and over again is royalty income. But I’ve always understood passive income as income not generated from your labor so you can not be participating in the company then it can be classified as passive income. But that is my goal to create passive income to wealth by using an online business, and I think it is the dream of many other people.

 

So passive income online would be generated by sales of your company that you are not actively participating in, many people say their business is on autopilot so it must be a former passive income, I am not sure so I do not want to claim to be an expert here. But I see it as creating an e-book and selling it over and over again; you did the labor one time and got multiple sales. I also believe it is the same thing when you create a CD set or video teaching set that you sell once, but sell for many years. That is my idea of passive income to wealth, because you really are not putting in the work all the time; only when you created the product.

 

Most multilevel marketing companies online or off line talk about creating passive income in their pay plan. Because even when you stop doing the business but you had created a giant down line you get paid for years from the work you did for a couple of years, and that is truly passive income in my mind. That’s why I will continue to write about passive income to wealth. It will be fun to check out all the different IRS codes about passive income online. It might even make a great product once I have all my studies done. Then I can help other people understand the tax code for passive income online.

 

Maybe some attorney out there would like to write some articles about this subject of passive income online and how passive income to wealth is available to everyone.
